Mrs. Edna Mae Scherer dies suddenly June 12

Mrs. Edna Mae Scherer, wife of Charles H. Scherer, Glenview road, who is plant superintendent at Lloyd Hollister Inc., passed away suddenly Tuesday, June 12, at the Evanston hospital, a victim of pneumonia.

Services will be held from St. John’s Lutheran church, Wilmette, this afternoon at 2 o’clock, and burial will be in Memorial Park.

Mrs. Scherer is survived by her husband and two children, Jane and Charles. Four brothers, Everett and William Hall of Marengo, Ill., Frank Hall of Nassau, Minn., and James Hall of Elgin, and three sisters, Mrs. Cora Schlupp of Huntley, Ill., Mrs. Carl Lenz of Elmhurst, and Mrs. Elmont Porch of Evanston, also survive.
