Mrs. Maggie Allison, 75, wife of James Allison, caretaker at the Wilmette Baptist church, died Friday, April 26, at her home, 724 Twelfth street, Wilmette, following injuries sustained when she fell recently. Mr. and Mrs. Allison were known in the Wilmette Baptist church as "dad" and "mother" and their Wilmette and Chicago friends crowded the church for Mrs. Allison's funeral, which was held Monday afternoon, April 29, at 2 o'clock, with the Rev. George D. Allison, pastor of the church, officiating.
Mrs. Allison was the mother of ten children, seven of whom survive her. They are: Marion G. Allison and Mrs. George E. Boyd, of Wilmette, Mrs. W. A. Clink, Mrs. A. C. Beck, Hugh M. Allison, and James H. Allison, of Chicago, and Mrs. C. R. Crary, of Wittenberg, Wis. Mr. and Mrs. Allison celebrated their golden wedding anniversary in Wilmette four years ago.- Featured Link
