Notes: Betty Shanahan Luhrman, 85, a resident of Wilmette, died May 10 in Hospice of the North Shore in Skokie.

Mrs. Luhrman was born Dec. 12, 1918 in Wilmette. Survivors include two nieces, Barbara Mecouch and Deborah Buck; and two nephews, Douglas Shanahan and Melvin Bartlett.

She is predeceased by her husband, Melvin C. Luhrman; two brothers, Richard Shanahan and Douglas Shanahan; and one sister, Eleanor Shanahan.

Interment is at Memorial Park Cemetery.
