William N. Cornell, 801 Ashland avenue, a resident of Wilmette for twenty-three years, died Tuesday, February 26. Mr. Cornell was Chicago manager of the Railway Underwriters with offices in the Insurance Exchange building. He was a member of the Shawnee County club, the North Shore Golf club, the Mission Hills club, and the Wilmette Masonic lodge.
Mr. Cornell is survived by his widow, Mrs. Agnes M. Cornell. His only daughter, Mrs. Ruth Cornell Melville, died several years ago. The funeral services, conducted by the Wilmette Masonic lodge, were held at 2 o’clock Thursday afternoon at the Graceland cemetery chapel.- Featured Link
