Marion Colby summoned by death at Springfield

Marion Dell Colby, daughter of Mr. And Mrs. Guy Irving Colby, formerly of 427 Greeenleaf avenue, Wilmette, died last Saturday at Springfield, Ill., at the age of 19 years. Miss Colby had been in the tuberculosis sanitarium in Springfield since last September. She graduated from New Trier High school two years ago, and attended Lindenwood college, St. Charles, Mo., the following year.

Miss Colby, who was buried Monday in Springfield, is survived by two brothers, Guy Irving, Jr., and Glenn, and a sister, Muriel, besides her parents.

Among the people who went to Springfield last week-end to attend the funeral were Mr. And Mrs. G. R. Garretson of Wilmette, Mr. And Mrs. Owen Leonard of Wilmette, Mr. And Mrs. George H. B. Burke of Wilmette, Mr. And Mrs. Neil Fells of Glencoe, Mr. And Mrs. Leo Miller of Wilmette, and Miss Dorothy Rae of Wilmette, who sang at the service.
