Dr. Maurice Gore, 92, died May 19 of acute myeloid leukemia at Northwestern Memorial Hospital in Chicago.

Dr. Gore was born Oct. 18, 1911 in Chicago.
Survivors include two sons, Bernard (Cathy Daniel) of San Rafael, Calif., and Robert (Margery Bornstein) of Denver, Colo.; one daughter, Nancy (Maurice) Marcus; five grandchildren, Debra (Edward Jones) Gore of Spokane, Wash., Diane (Jean Clough) Gore of Seattle, Wash., Lindsey Marcus of Chicago, Daniel Marcus of San Francisco, Calif., and Steven Gore of Denver, Colo; two great grandsons, Jack and Noah Jones; and a brother-in-law, Herbert (Ruth) Zak of Indian Wells, Calif.

His wife was the late Lucy Zak.

Memorial services will be held at 10 a.m. on Sunday, May 30, at North Shore Congregation Israel, 1185 Sheridan Road, in Glencoe.
