Mrs. Symons was born June 22, 1920 in Highland Park to Antonia and Ernest Moldaner. Survivors include her husband, John G. Symons; two sisters, Eleanor Lund of Janesville, Wis. and Margaret (Gervase) Brown of Wheeling; her daughter, Patricia (Jerry) Frank of Evanston; two grandchildren, Beth Palmquist (Raymond) Silverstein and Theodore Frank; and three great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Symons was preceded in death by her former husband, Daniel W. Grady II; and her sons, Daniel W. Grady III and Laurence Patrick Grady.
