- Fred H. Prochnow, who was born December 16, 1865 in Skokie, died Wednesday, August 1, at the St. Francis Hospital. Burial was at Memorial Park Cemetery. Surviving Mr. Prochnow of 1718 Wilmette Avenue, Wilmette; two sons, Howard Prochnow of 538 Illinois Road, Wilmette, and Eugene Prochnow of San Marino, Calif.; a sister, Mrs. Lillian Barkus of 1435 North Western Avenue, Chicago; and a brother, Albert Prochnow.
