John Winthrop Pearson of Chicago died of a heart attack while in Solon Springs, Wis. on Wednesday, May 30. Born in Newburyport, Mass., on September 16, 1880. He is survived by his widow, Elisabeth Schukraft Pearson, four sons, Arthur G. of Libertyville, William S. of Baltimore, Md., John M. of Chicago Heights, Whitney L. of Libertyville, two daughters, Mrs. Henry G. R. White of Winnetka, and Mrs. James Kucera of Northfield, and fourteen grandchildren. The family had lived in Wilmette four about ten years, moving to Chicago in 1936. The Rev. George Ogden Kirk of the First Congregational Church in Chicago, conducted the services which were followed by cremation at the Memorial Park Cemetery.
