Notes: George H. R. "Jack" Jackson, 83, a resident of Evanston, formerly of Glencoe, died Aug. 4 in Evanston.

Mr. Jackson was born Aug. 15, 1920 in Bridge of Allan, Scotland. He married Eleanor Maclay Jones in 1952 and moved to Chicago.

Survivors include two daughters, Eunice Anne Carlye Jackson of Devonshire, England and Alexandra Maclay Jackson Rieser of Wilmette; and two grandchildren, Graham Stillman Rieser of Wilmette and Alanna Carlyle Rieser of Wilmette.

He is predeceased by his wife, Elanor [sic] Maclay Jones.
