- Richard Lawrence, 81, died Aug. 18 in Cedar Falls, Iowa. Mr. Lawrence was born Oct. 31, 1922 in Evanston. Survivors include his wife, Helen Lawrence of Cedar Falls, Iowa; three daughters, Chris (Randy) Graf of Wilmette, Heather (Scott) Lawrence-Richards of Cedar Falls, Iowa and Sharon (John) Lawrence-Lee of Lakewood, Colo.; five grandchildren, Hayley Graf, Alex, Nate and Tim Lawrence-Richards and Stephanie Lawrence-Lee; and one sister, Catherine Detweiler of Gainesville, Fla.
