- Eileen (nee Lamb) O'Gara, 90, died Sept. 17.
She founded the first Business and Professional School in Wilmette in 1970. Survivors include her nine children, Tom (Mary Jo) O'Gara of Winnetka, Katie (Bobby) Phillips of Northfield, Molly (Mike) Eskew of Atlanta, Ga., Nellie (Kevin) Hickey of Avon, Conn., Pat (Laurie) O'Gara of Newton, Mass., Maureen (Jim) Hackett of Houston, Texas, Mike (Sue) O'Gara, of Northbrook, Anne (Brad) Buxton of Northfield, Tim (Meg) O'Gara of Winnetka; 29 grandchildren Tom, John, Maggie and Amy O'Gara, Nellie, Bo, Brian and Bridget Phillips, Pat, Kate, Pete and Jim Eskew, Frances and Gus Hickey, Brian, Grady and Katie O'Gara, Jimmy, Kelly, Molly and Mosie Hackett, Danny, Megan and Ellie O'Gara; Erin, Katherine, Sara, Brad Buxton, Riley O'Gara; two sisters, Bernardine Borrowdale and Margaret Daly; and many nieces and nephews.
She is predeceased by her husband, Thomas E. O'Gara.
Mass was celebrated Tuesday, Sept. 21 at St. Joseph Church in Wilmette.
Interment was at All Saints Cemetery in Des Plaines.
