Notes: Marian Cutler, 78, a resident of Wilmette, died Sept. 18.

Mrs. Cutler was born in Manitowoc, Wis., the daughter of an Orthodox Jewish rabbi, Bernard Horovitz and his Batsheva. She met and married Dr. Irving Cutler in 1951

Survivors include her husband of 53 years, Dr. Irving Cutler of Wilmette; her daughter, Susie (Joab Silverglade) Cutler of Porter, Ind.; her son, Daniel Cutler of Skokie; her grandchildren, Sam and Rahm Silverglade and Carl and Lee Cutler; her sisters Freda (Sheldon) Robinson of Chicago and Sonia (Howard) Goldsmith of Netanya, Israel; her brother, Rabbi Moshe (Leah) Horovitz of Jerusalem; and her sisters-in-law Bella Joseph, Rose Pollack and Dorothy Yashon of Chicago.
