- Allyson Lech and Scott Russell were married July 31 [2004] at the John Denver Sanctuary in Aspen, Colo. [Colorado] The bride is the daughter of Linda DiFazio of Old Lyme, Conn. [Connecticut] and Leo Lech of Key Largo, Fla. [Florida] The groom is the son of Marilyn and Jim Russell of Northfield. The matrons of honor were Annika Powell of Nederland, Colo., and Heidi Wilson of Boulder, Colo. The best men were the groom's brother; Ward Russell of Chicago and Mark Bowman of Evergreen, Colo. The bridesmaids were Cindy Binch of Norwalk, Conn., Robin Dickinson, the bride's sister-in-law, of Hood River, Ore., Hennessey Knop of Sausilito, Calif., Kara Lech, the bride's sister-in-law, of Old Lyme and Pilar Solimene of Easton, Conn. The groomsen were Brad Christian of San Marcos, Calif., formerly of Northfield, Chip Dickinson, the groom's brother-in-law, of Hood River; David Jaquith of Jackson Hole, Wyo. [Wyoming], formerly of Northfield, Michael Lech, the groom's brother-in-law, of Old Lyme and Jeff Volkert of Denver. The couple reside in Aspen.
