- Optimist Club of Wilmette has awarded financial support to area youth-related purposes and organizations including college scholarships to: Grade Adelle DeVuoro [sic], Krystle Felcaro, Kelly Harang, Brianna L. Hirsch, Brian David Kittle, Steven B. Meyer, Elizabeth Ray and Sari Jaymes Sanchez. The club also distributed gifts to Links North Shore Youth Health Service, The Warming House Youth Center, North Suburgan Special Recreation Asociation and the Evanston Environmental Association.
