- Kenilworth Historical Society named nine award winners in three categories of restoration and rehabilitations that were sensitive to original architecture. Houses included 326 Essex Road the award for which was accepted by Bob Spindell and Vicki Meier on behalf of his mother, Ethel. Art and Elizabeth Duquette, owners of 322 Kenilworth, won an award for restoring a porch. Other winners were Julie and Ted Heldring, 328 Leicester Road; Michelle and Ned Leuchtner of 638 Abbotsford Road; Sandy and Patrick Martin of 602 Earlston Road; Margy and Greg Werd of 319 Essex Road; Cindy and Richard Nicolaides of 240 Essex Road; Susan and Don DeLoach of 337 Abbotsford Road; and Robin and Peter Roberts of 336 Abbotsford Road.
