- The Evangelical Lutheran Church in America released a sexuality report written by a task force on the issue of ordaining celebate gay ministers and recommended to continue not blessing same-sex marriages. Rev. Roger Nelson, interim pastor at Wilmette Lutheran Church and Rev. Dav. David Kyllo, interim pastor of St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church, comment. Discussions are ongoing on whether to combine the two small congregations into one.
