Notice is hereby given that on Wednesday, May 18, 2005 at 7:30 P.M., the Zoning Board of Appeals of the Village of Wilmette will conduct a public hearing in the Council Chambers of Village Hall, 1200 Wilmette Avenue, Wilmette, Illinois when matters listed below will be considered:

2005-Z-28 1000 Ridge Road A request by Ned Leuchtner for a special use to convert a legal nonconforming use personal service (hair salon) and dwelling unit to personal service use (hair salon) and office space on the property legally described as: Lot 2 in Block 6 in E. T. Paul's Subdivision of Blocks 2,3 and 6 in E. T. Paul's Addition to Wilmette, a Subdivision of the West 1053.3 Feet of the Fractional South Half of the Fractional Southeast Quarter of Section 28, Township 42 North, Range 13, East of the Third Principal Meridian, (Except the South 6.34 Chains), in Cook County, Illinois

2005-Z-29 2211 Kenilworth A request by Joseph Shelly for a 69.9 square foot (2.08%) total floor area variation to permit the construction of a second floor addition on the property legally described as: East Half of Lot 65 in Kenilworth Gardens, being a Subdivision of those parts of the West Half of Section 28, Township 42 North, Range 13, East of the Third Principal Meridian, in Cook County, Illinois, lying West of Ridge Avenue Described as Follows: Lot 1 in Barbara Wagner's Subdivision; The South 20 Acres of the Northwest Quarter of said Section 28 also in the North 10 Acres of the Southwest Quarter of said Section 28, all in cook County, Illinois.

2005-Z-30 1033 Sheridan Road A request by Dennis Hong and Nona Craig for a 22.8' rear yard of a double frontage lot setback variation, a .83' side yard setback variation and a 632.86 square foot rear yard impervious surface variation to permit the reconstruction of a garage on the property legally described as: All that part of Lot 1 in Sheridan Road Resubdivision of Block 3 in Dingee's Addition to Wilmette, according to plat thereof recorded February 11, 1893, as Document No. 1814599 Bounded and Described as Follows, to Wit: Beginning at a Point on the Northeasterly Line said Lot 1, 150.0 feet Southeasterly of the North Corner of said Lot; Thence Southeasterly along the Northeasterly Line of said lot, 60.0 feet; Thence Southwesterly on a line at Right Angles to the aforesaid Northeasterly line, 121.79 feet, the the West line of said Lot 1; Thence North on said West line, 9.50 feet to a point 221.54 feet South of the North Corner of said Lot 1; Thence Northeasterly on a line at Right Angles to the Northeasterly line of said Lot 1, a distance of 161.18 feet to the Place of Beginning, in Cook County, Illinois.

2005-Z-31 250 Locust Road A request by Hartley and Rochelle Begoun for a 1.5' lot width variation and a 259.821 square foot lot area variation for Lot 1 and a 0.5' lot width variation and a 259.71 square foot lat area variation for Lot 2 to permit the subdivision of the property legally described as: Lot 2 in Third Addition to Hollywood in Wilmette, Being a Subdivision of the South 669.38 Feet of the North 1588.52 Feet of the East 10 Acres of the Southwest Quarter of Section 32, Township 42 North, Range 13 East of the Third Principal Meridian and Part of the West Half of Lot 28 in County Clerk's Division of Section 32 Aforesaid All in Cook County, Illinois.
