- Bob Danon, the owner of Charlie's Coffee house in Wilmette, is hopeful after a village committee reversed a December decision and voted to grant him a liquor license. Village trustees say last week's decision is just the start of a long-term review of licensing laws which were criticized for being too restrictive.
