- Mrs. Marian Irish Baird, sister of Mrs. Harold F. Ames, of Wilmette, died November 9 at Evanston Hospital. Mrs. Baird, who was born in Racine, Wisconsin on November 1, 1917, had been a resident of Evanston for 37 years. Her home was at 2016 Harrison Street. Surviving are her husband, J. Kenneth Baird; two sons, Stacey and Bruce; a daughter, D'Arcy; her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Stacey B. Irish of Evanston; and another sister, Mrs Ruth McHugh, of Colorado Springs, Colorado. Interment was at Memorial Park Cemetery.
