Notes: Adoption COnnection held its "Speakeasy and Casino" party the evening of Oct. 22 at the Northbrook Hilton. The event raised about $36,000 for the organization founded by co-directors Ddeane Borgeson of Winnetka and Enid Callen of Deerfield to provide innovative private adooption services to all members of the adoption triad.
