- Robert Philip White of Northbrook, a former resident of La Jolla, Calif., and Glencoe, died Dec. 4 at his home. He was 82.
Born in Brooklyn, N.Y.
He was preceded in death by a son, John B., in 1995; two sisters, Virginia McCortney and Hazel Skillin; a brother, William P. Jr.; and other relatives.
Survivors include his wife, Marie (née Kashul); sons Robert Jr. of Yosemite, Calif., Terrence of Fort Myers, Fla., and Steven (Patti) of Dallas; a daughter, Valerie (Tom) Rizzoli of Houston; nine grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; a sister, Alice Barr of Pittsburgh; and a brother, Roger B. (Francine) of Atlanta.
A memorial Mass was celebrated by his nephew, the Rev. James P. Clifford, on Saturday at St. Norbert Roman Catholic Church in Northbrook.
