- Harry Apelian, 79, of Evanston, father of a Wilmette resident, died Sunday in Evanston Hospital. Born in Allepo, Turkey, Mr. Apelian moved to the United States and Evanston in 1931. Survivors include his widow, Catherine; two sons, George, 2601 Greenleaf Av.; Wilmette, and Jack of Skokie; two daughters, Mrs. Helen Barsumian of Encino, Cal, and Mrs. Ann Peterson of Fullerton, Cal.; and 12 grandchildren. Burial was in Memorial Park Cemetery in Skokie.
