- Dr. Elsbeth Kong of Switzerland was given the lifetime achievement award by the Glenview-based Pathways Awareness Foundation for her efforts in early detection of neuromotor difficulties in children. About 400 people attended the dinner and award ceremony. The event raised $500,000 for Pathways established in 1988.
