Notes: Dorothy (née Lewis) Evans, 89, of Wilmette, formerly of Glenview, died March 4 at Evanston Hospital.

Mrs. Evans was born Sept. 26, 1916, in Chicago.
Survivors include her husband, John W. of Wilmette; one daughter, Joan (Jim) Phillips of Wilmette; two grandchildren, Kevin and Sara Phillips of Chicago; and one sister, Edith Kerchill of Tucson, Ariz.

She was preceded in death by one son, Steven.
