Notes: Mary "Beans" Elizabeth (née Kaufmann) Allen, 75, of Wilmette died Feb. 17 in Skokie.

Mrs. Allen was born Nov. 4, 1930, in Evanston. Survivors include three sons, James (Mary) of Northbrook, Joseph (Carol) of Cary and John (Beth) of Wilmette; two daughters, Joan (Geoff) Sutton of Northbrook and Jane of Wheeling; and 13 grandchildren, Eileen, James, Robert, Peter, Christopher, Bonnie, Helen, Geoffrey, Scotty, Patrick, Johnathan, Tommy and Sophie.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert J.; and one brother, John Kaufmann.

Services were held Feb. 20 at St. Joseph Church in Wilmette.

Interment was at St. Joseph Cemetery in River Grove.
