- Thurston Bruce Swanson Jr., 94, died March 1 at his Glenview home.
Mr. Swanson was born Jan. 11, 1912, in Wilmette.
Survivors include his wife, Miriam L. (née DeBrun); a daughter, Loretta A. Lebamoff; a son, John Bruce (Arlene); and five grandchildren.
A requiem Mass was celebrated on March 4 at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church in Glenview. Interment was in All Saints Cemetery, Des Plaines.
