- John R. Mott will speak at the Chicago Sunday Evening Club in Orchestra hall January 16 on "The Advantages of Trials." He will be introduced by John Nuveen, Jr. of Kenilworth, who will preside in the absence of the club's president, Clifford W. Barnes. Anthony L. Michel wll take part in the program, and there will be music by a choir. "A Mighty Fortress," written by Philo Otis, late Chicago composer, will be included in the program in which Charles Sears and Mark Love will take the solo parts.
