- Wilmette's Plan Commission voted to recommend that village trustees reject plans to redevelop the Wil-Shore Ford property. The Commissions objection was the five-story height. The Wilmette Village Center development principal, Keith Pochter, said he plans to present the project to the village board as is. Comments by Commissioner Bob Spriggs. Commissioners Vincent McBrien, Ron Grossman, Bob Surman and Borys Later don't want the project to go above four stories.
