- Virginia (née Hewitt) Brown, 93, died June 13 at Presbyterian Homes in Evanston.
Born Sept. 24, 1912, in Chicago. She married Albert Brown on Nov. 27, 1937. Mr. Brown preceded his wife in death in 1965, after 27 years of marriage.
Survivors include daughters Barbara B. (Thomas) Oliver of Washington, D.C. and Janet B. (Jerry) Quintiliani of Peoria, Ill; one grandchild; sister Genevieve Hewitt Olson; one niece; and one nephew.
