- A local group with a contract to buy the former Kohl Children's Museum site for redevelopment gave the Wilmette Plan Commission a preliminary idea of the proposed 33-unit, four-story condo building, and a one-story bank to be build on the north end of the property at 165 Green Bay Road. The developer has concerns about meeting the village goal of 15% "affordable units", as does the developer of the proposed building at the former Ford dealer property near the library. Plan Commissioner Robert Surman feels the four story height of the proposed Kohl buiding is too high for the area.
