- More than 400 New Trier High School seniors will be graduated at the annual commencement exercises Thursday night, June 15. On Saturday nigh, June 10, is the class senior hop to be held at the Orrington hotel roof garden in Evanston. Because of the illness of Otto R. Barnett of Glencoe, president of the board of education, some other member may assist Herbert B. Mulford, the secretary, in presenting the diplomas. The superintendent, M. P. Gaffney will also be present. Robert Seiler, president of the senior class, will represent the graduates in presenting their gift to the school. Other class officers are Virginia Smith, Helen Shepard, and Richard Steen. Dr. Oscar Thomas Olson, pastor of the Wilmette Parish Methodist church, will give the invocation. Proposed program described includes tenor solo by Arthur Katzel and bass solo by Richard Olson.
