- Molly Eileen Houlihan and Peter Cavanaugh McDermott were married Oct. 22 at the St. James Chapel of Quigley Seminary in Chicago, with the Rev. Richard Jakubik and the Rev. Martin McDermott, uncle of the groom, presiding. The bride is the daughter of Mary Alice and Daniel Lane Houlihan of Wilmette. The groom is the son of Molly and Edward Leo McDermott and the grandson of Mary Oldani ofGrosse Pointe, Mich. The maid of honor was the bride's sister, Bridget Mary Houlihan of Chicago, and the best man was the groom's brother, Edward Leo McDermott, Jr. of Grosse Pointe. The bridesmaids were Kathleen Houlihan, Margaret Houlihan and Nora Houlihan, sisters of the bride, of Chicago; JoAnn Houlihan of Chicago, sister-in-law of the bride; Amy Bradley and Molly Nelson,of Chicago; Elizabeth Ciconte of Gross Pointe; Molly DeWick of Boston; and Jane Gillard of New York. The groomsmen were Martin Houlihan, the bride's brother, of Chicago; Walter Cody of New Orleans; Ryan Erwin and Daniel Strobel of Nashville; Jason Marr, Stephen Stoyka and John Tumbull of Chicago and Gregory PetriUi and Douglas Wood of Grosse Pointe. The scripture readers were Joseph B. Andrews III of St. Louis, Kevin Hayes of Scranton, Pa., and Michael French of Grosse Pointe. The couple live in Chicago.
