Former New Trier standout KayAnne Gummersall made an impreseion during her first season with the Dukesoccer squad and was named to the Atlantic Coast Conference All-Freshman team.

Former New Trier soccer star Bob Carlson is now the head men's soccer coach at Carleton College.

Jared Hiltzik of WIlmette earned a runner-up finish Nov. 24-27 at the USTA National Open Boys 12 singles competition held in Flushing Meadows, N.Y.

Molly Vitt, a sophomore from Kenilworth, tallied for the Panthers in the victory over Hamilton College over the Thanksgiving weekend.

Darwin Hunt, a senior from Winnetka, helped the men's team win 7-1 over Potsdam in the consolation game of the Primelink Great Northern Shootout tournament.

New Trier volleyball standout Jack Polales will sign a letter of intent to play at UCLA next year.

Katie Eckenhoff of Glencoe, a freshman competing for the Denison University women's soccer team, earned second team all-North Coast Athletic honors.

North Shore Country Day School alumna, Rachel Cahan , a junior from Evanston, named to the second team all-American for the University of Rochester by the National Field Hockey Coaches Association.

Fourteen-year-old figure skater, Georgia Glastris of Winnetka, a freshman at New Trier High School, finished seventh in th enation at the Intermediate Ladies final in the United State Junior Championships held last week in Cleveland, Ohio.
