- Florence Whiting of Evanston died Oct. 31 four days after her 84th birthday and her 60th anniversary. She died in the Georgian retirement home, Evanston. The Clifford Whitings lived formerly at 2322 Bryant Av. Mrs. Whiting was born in Fond du Lac, Wis. and was married to Mr. Whiting on her 24th birthday in Philadelphia. Mrs. Whiting is survived by her husband; a son, Robert C. Whiting of Wilmette; five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
