- John Robert Jones, 63, of 3127 Sprucewood Rd. Wilmette died Nov. 13 at Evanston Hospital. Born in Osage City, KanHe is survived by his wife, Martha; two sons, Steven of Santa Ana, Cal., and Gerald of Wilmette; a daughter, Karen Volkmann of Witchita Kan.; his parents, Gomer and Margaret Jones of Topeka; three brothers, Bernard of San Mateo, Cal., and Goerge and Clifford, both of Topeka; and two sisters, Lucille Turgeon of Salt Lake City and Dorothy Gartner of Topeka.
