- Laura Shapiro, Glencoe resident and Wilmette native, has started a business, N&J Sweets, to sell brownies based on a family recipe. Shapiro has recently found a commercial Chicago bakery capable of reproducing the recipe for sale. She has two sons Nathan and Jesse.
