- The Avoca School board approved a tentative 2010 property tax levy Nov. 18 of $11.4 million, excluding a request for $730,000 to pay bod oblications. The levy represents a 4.7 % increase over the 2009 levy. The tentative levy will be the focus of a public hearing Dec. 15.
