- Five new plaques were added to the Illinois Holocaust Museum a& Education Center's Foundation of the Righteous recently in a ceremony commemorating the 72nd anniversary of Kristallnacht, the state sanctioned, anti-Jewish riots against Germany's Jewish Community. The newest honorees are Liesel and Luise Gansz of Germany, Gerhardus and Elizabeth Heuker of the Netherlands, Hendrickus and Dina Livestro of the Netherlands and Konstancija Brazeniene of Lithuania. Photograph of Herbert Klaber sitting in front of a plaque depicting the name of the family that saved him and his wife, Marcia during the Holocaust.
