- The Wilmette Jr. High cross country teams each placed in the IESA State Finals for the second year in a row. The boys finished 11th and the girls took 7th on Oct. 16 at Maxwell Park in Normal. Students mentioned include Mimi Smith, Carter Burch, Oona Jung-Beeman, Cameron Coughlin, Stephanie Arellano, Debbie Newmark, Emma Stewart, Charlie Pearlman, Joshua Greenberg, Akshar Kanwar, Daniel Chen, Jeremy Glickman, Stephen Stearns and Nick Cornejo. Coaches were Nate Williams, Aaaron Dubnow, James Grimes.
