- Wilmette village trustees expect to have a final version of the village plan recommended by the Plan Commission available at their Jan. 11 meeting. At that time they will be asked to adopt the plan as an amendment to Wilmette's comprehensive plan. Wilmette Public Library officials still express concerns about adequate parking for library patrons under the new plan developed by Lakota Group. Comments by Library Board president Cinda Axley.
