- The North End Improvement Association held a meeting Monday at the residence of Charles M. Cartwright in Evanston concerning the proposed discontinuance of the street car service. Charles M. Howe, is president of the association. Reporters from the Daily News interviewed Mr. Wirt E. Humphrey, president of the Sherman Avenue Association and Chairman Charles S. Wallace.
