- Evanston and other North Shore advocates of women's suffrage are at an annual convention in Galesburg, IL. The convention is being held at the First Presbyterian Church. New officers will be elected. Mrs. George W. Trout is a candidate for the presidency. She would succeed Mrs. Downey. Mrs. Catherine Waugh McCulloch is running for Vice-President. Miss Jeannie Johnson is nominated for treasurer.
