- A candidates' forum was held Sunday afternoon featuring six candidates who are vying for three open seats on Wilmette's Village Board in the April 5 election. Candidates are Robert Bielinski, Mike Basil, Julie Wolfe, Michael Bailey, Douglas Rathe, Dan Kaplan. Photograph incumbent trustee Mike Basil with candidate Michael G. Bailey and candidate Dan Kaplan with resident Carole Liebson.
