- Photograph Nicole Basil of Wilmette with NBC talk show host Nate Berkus. Berkus recently assisted the efforts of Nicole Basil, age 11, who collects bicycles for kids in Chicacgo, by publicizing her efforts. Nicole started Pedal Power (gopedalpower.com) three years ago collecting bicycles in good condition that kids have outgrown. The organization also raises money to buy safety helmets.
