Mrs. Oliver Rogers Doig, 80, widow of the late John Stuart Doig and a resident of Wilmette for over 50 years, died November 10. Dr. Ross Cannon conducted services Monday afternoon at the First Congregational Church. Interment was in Rosehill Cemetery. A native of Wauwatosa, Wis., she married John S. Doig, who grew up in Wilmette, in 1896 and in 1897 they moved to their own home in Wilmette. They lived at 820 Oakwood Avenue from 1909 until his death in 1942. She was a member of the First Congregational Church in Wilmette. She is survived by a son, James, of 1724 Highland Avenue, Wilmette; a granddaughter, Lorna; two brothers, Clarence of Oconomowoc, Wis., and Robert of Anaconda, Mont.; and two sisters, Mrs. Birdie Van Vechten of Los Angeles, Calif., and Mrs. Marion Gregg of Milwaukee, Wis.
