- New Trier rowers won three gold medals in the Hoover Invitational in Westerville, Ohio, on Saturday. High winds forced organizers to cancel the event after only a few races had been completed. Comments by coach Charles Richardson. Winning crews: men's novice 8B includes cox Michael White; Mick Donahue; Paul Kokes; David Stimson; Harry Conkey; Nemanya Pavlovski; Colin Berge; Ryan Evenson and William Stogin. First place women's novice 4B crew: cox Jessika Huang; Claire Peterson; Carolyn McShea; Alexis Braunot and Elizabeth Phillips. Men's novice 8 B team is: Gabe Levine-Drizin; Rich Nicolaides III; Hunt Tempest; Peter Straub; Louis-Andre Eyselee; Adam Basse; Karl Neumann; Curt Bliamptis and Jack Shelton.
