Notes
Short editorial comments on the successful fundraising campaign for the Contagious Disease Hospital, one-half of the $100,000 desired has been pledged. Bull Moosers are now wearing ties embroidered with "T. R." which the paper has heard stands not for Theodore Roosevelt but Theodore Rex. Dr. William T. McElveen suggests that the new hospital is a form of insurance against one getting ill since more people will be hospitalized instead of out spreading germs. Praise given for the speech made by James A. Patten in Chicago Monday endorsing the Republican candidate for county office. Also a reprint of Mr. Rufus C. Dawes' letter supporting the re-election of President Taft.
