Bernys S. Nierman Levin, age 96, passed away June 15 in LaJolla, CA; beloved wife of the late Richard H. Levin; loving mother of Paul (Deborah Horwitz) Nierman, James (Mary) Nierman and Kathryn Hadden, James Levin and the late Roger (Anne) Levin; dear grandmother of 11; great-grandmother of seven. Graveside services Thursday, June 23, 10:30 a.m. at Mt. Isaiah Israel Cemetery, 6640 W. Addison St., Chicago, IL. Memorials may be made to Nierman Preschool at Lawrence Family Jewish Community Center, 4126 Executive Dr., LaJolla, CA 92037 or United Jewish Federation of San Diego, 4950 Murphy Canyon Rd., San Diego, CA 92123.
