- The Juvenile Protective Association of the North Shore held a meeting Tuesday at the Winnetka Community House to discuss ways and means to raise sufficient funds and enlarge membership. Along with this the board of directors are looking into hiring Mr. Howard Shaw of the Chicago Juvenile Association to become their superintendent. The board of directors from the various communities are as follows: Highland Park, R. L. Sandwick, Geo. R. Dean, and Mrs. Maude Shannon; Glencoe, Mr. and Mrs. Geo. J. Pope, and Mr. Arthur Rowell; Winnetka, Mrs. W. W. Case, Mr. Ira Coach Wood, and Mrs. Morris Greeley; Kenilworth, Dr. Charles Horswell, Mr. W. F. Zimmerman, and Mrs. Edward Phelps; Wilmette, Mr. Ralph Londsberry, Mr. George E. Cole,and Mrs. James A. Britton. The officers of the society are as follows: President, Mr. Ralph Londsberry, Wilmette; vice-president, Mrs. James A. Britton, Wilmette; secretary, Mrs. Morris Greeley, Winnetka; treasurer, Mr. George J. Pope, Glencoe.
